La Semana Grande 2011 se celebrará del 13 al 20 de agosto. La Aste Nagusia es uno de los eventos más esperados del año en la capital guipuzcoana. Durante esa semana las calles donostiarras se llenan de gente, espectáculos, música, actividades… por lo que es una de las fechas más propicias para visitar la ciudad y empaparse de su cultura y su buen ambiente.

Los conciertos juegan un papel muy importante en la Semana Grande donostiarra. Este año se subirán al      escenario situado en la explanada de Sagües grandes artistas como Marta Sánchez y Celtas Cortos.

Otro de los grandes atractivos tanto para donostiarras como para los visitantes son los fuegos artificiales    que cada noche iluminan la ciudad. Especialistas en fuegos artificiales de diferentes países compiten en este  Concurso Internacional que tiene lugar en un entorno casi inmejorable: la bahía de la Concha.

Las fiestas se completan con multitud de actividades para todas las edades y gustos:  gigantes y cabezudos   divirtiendo a los más pequeños, verbenas, discoteca al aire libre en la explanada del Kursaal, ferias en el Paseo Nuevo, toro de fuego…

Sin duda, una semana llena de vida con la posibilidad de realizar todo tipo de actividades a cualquier hora del día en la que no habrá tiempo para el aburrimiento.

El verano es la época ideal para disfrutar del mejor jazz al aire libre y el Festival de Jazz de San Sebastián, como cada verano, nos trae del 21 al 25 de julio, a algunos de los mejores artistas de jazz.
